About the Japanese Society of Mycotoxicology

Aims
The Society works to increase scientific knowledge concerning toxicology, biology, and chemistry related to mycotoxins and mycotoxin-producing fungi, through membership networking, annual meetings, international symposia, seminars and publications.

History
The Japanese Association of Mycotoxicology was founded in 1972 as a research group on cancer under the Ministry of Health, and was renamed the Japanese Society of Mycotoxicology in 2007.
